This position serves as an Enforcement Specialist II in the Bureau of Air Quality performing duties to resolve noncompliance through appropriate enforcement actions established in the Department’s Uniform Enforcement Policy
Job Duties:
- Use the appropriate level of enforcement to resolve non-compliance with state and/or federal regulations
- Professionally conduct enforcement meetings
- Engage in conflict resolution
- Keep accurate records of enforcement activities
- Respond to inquiries from the public, other governmental agencies, and consultants
A bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; or an associate degree in a related technical field and one (1) year of environmental health or related experience; or high school diploma and three (3) years of environmental health or related experience
