Leidos is seeking anEnergy Efficiency Outreach Specialist to join our team supporting a federal customer with their goal of educating multifamily property owners about reducing energy consumption and costs in buildings. As an Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for efforts to engage with building owners and agents and gather, track, and analyze property level energy and water consumption and costs and benchmark energy and water performance in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® as well as a CRM for internal tracking and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
The Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist will be responsible for facilitating and encouraging engagement in collecting multifamily property information and evaluating energy and water usage data while promoting conservation measures and investments to improve energy and water efficiency. You will also assist in developing detailed analysis of energy and water consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions at the property and portfolio level.
The Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist will:
Conduct outreach to a vetted list of property owners, agents, and supplier utilities
Support property owner engagement, data collection, and ongoing support to maximize program participation
Provide guidance and technical assistance to the community of building owners, managers, and agents through email and phone
Assist with development of property level energy and water usage analysis
Identify potential building energy conservation and efficiency measures
Maintain detailed records in a customer relationship management (CRM) system
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in related discipline in Renewable Energy, Energy & Sustainability Policy, Energy Systems or Sustainable Technology, Sustainable Energy Management, Clean & Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Understanding of building energy use and Energy Efficiency in buildings
Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, analytical, and writing skills
Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong computer skills including working with large spreadsheets, databases and CRM
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadline
US citizenship is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager benchmarking portal
Experience with Energy Efficiency measures for multifamily residential or commercial buildings
Knowledge of building systems and Energy Efficiency technologies
Self-starter and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
