This candidate will be responsible for working with Quality Control and Analytical Development departments to administer Empower systems, providing technical support for the installation, trouble shooting, monitoring performance, maintenance and administration of computers and desktop application software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Create or Update Report Methods in coordination with digital team in France.
- Update custom fields as needed per methods in coordination with digital team in France.
- Set up new Lace boxes.
- Set up instrument nodes and systems for QC and AD
- Provide local Basic Empower Training to new hires
- Periodically check Empower audit trails
- Support periodic reviews
- Perform Admin functions for multiple QC instruments
- Maintain GMP documentation for instruments
- Create user accounts and active directory accounts with support from local IT group
- Support IT with system backup to AllSync
- Own local system and administration SOPs
- Application troubleshooting and communication with vendors
- Associate degreee in computer science, information systems, or a related field;
- Zero to two (0-2) years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting user laptops/network/server hardware and software;
- Preferred 0-2 years of experience in GLP or GMP environment.
- Proficient with platform software (LIMS, Empower, Acronys, AllSync)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Good deductive reasoning and initiative to solve problems.
- Able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven.
