Position Summary:
Prioritizes and directs daily recruitment and staffing efforts for the property.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Responsible for gathering qualified applicants that adhere to the ilani culture.
- Partners with the Employment Manager to provides daily direction and prioritization of tasks to the recruiting team in alignment with the recruiting strategy.
- Serves as the training lead for onboarding new recruiters.
- Partners daily with the Career Development Specialist to highlight up-coming opportunities and Cowlitz Tribal applicants.
- Responsible for notifying the Cowlitz Tribe, MGE and community partners of ilani opportunities.
- Ensures accurate and timely posting of all positions.
- Leads the effort to secure on-site recruiting event space and approves related BEO's.
- Reviews applications and determines the applicant's qualifications and suitability for employment.
- Schedules and conducts pre-screening interviews with candidates as well as manages the ATS software.
- Maintains friendly and professional interactions with all applicants, team members, hiring managers, and complete all appropriate documentation and follow-up with candidates for employment.
- Helps applicants with applicant tracking system (ATS) while assigning passwords and managing system.
- Confers with managers and supervisors to ensure that all hiring, and employment practices comply with tribal, state, and federal laws.
- Ensures accurate tracking and record keeping in compliance with tribal, state, and federal guidelines.
- Maintains brand standards on recruiting platforms.
- Maintains records and prepares reports concerning, recruitment, interviews, hires, transfers, referrals, promotions and terminations.
- Screen Manager and above candidates in the absence of Employment Manager.
- Develops and maintains recruitment sourcing partners.
- Performs outreach and serves as a liaison with our "job coach" partners.
- Tracks candidate licensing turnaround.
- Maintains record of off-site recruiting efforts and ROI.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the ATS.
- Review and maintain updated job descriptions.
- Maintains an inventory of recruiting supplies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in recruitment and interviewing plus knowledge of employment laws.
- Associates degree or certification in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must have a "can do" and collaborative approach and be able to recruit similar attitudes.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to learn HRM and ATS systems.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience recruiting in a gaming environment preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
