Employee Relations Specialist

OneBlood is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team in the Jacksonville area. The HR Business Partner functions as a trusted advisor to employees and management by providing appropriate consultation and guidance. They also deliver employment, workforce planning, organization development, Employee Relations services and professional expertise to assigned client groups in support of the organization meeting business goals.

This position is primarily remote with some standard days required in the Tallahassee office as well as traveling between client group locations for any required matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Builds business partner relationships with management and staff. Provides continuous coaching and guidance to client groups regarding organizational issues that are negatively impacting overall effectiveness. Conducts appropriate diagnosis and potential interventions
• Manages Employee Relations and corrective actions matters ensuring all regulatory compliance and legal requirements are met. Develops recommendations and provide guidance to clients for resolution. Analyzes trends and root causes and looks for opportunities to improve work environment and client group satisfaction
• Ensures clients receive assistance with all aspects of the annual performance review and rewards programs including coaching on effective documentation practices and facilitating robust calibration and talent review meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management or business related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

Professional in Human Resources (PHR / SHRM-CP) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR / SHRM–SCP) preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Experience with high volume Employee Relations matters
• Knowledge of Human Resources practices, functions, approaches, and applicable employment law and regulations.
• Ability to lead and manage large scale projects
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Skill in Microsoft Office applications and in operating office equipment
• Ability to travel 30% of the time
• Ability to commute with personal transportation.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary($70 - 75k/year)
