As we expand our retail dispensary operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dispensary Technology Support Manager to oversee and optimize our operational technology systems, including Dutchie POS & online ordering, Metrc (state traceability system), and various state regulatory systems.
Position Overview: We are searching for a talented and experienced Dispensary Technology Support Manager to lead our Dispensary Technology operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, integration, and optimization of our technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Dispensary Technology systems, including Dutchie and Metrc, along with a passion for leveraging technology to drive operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain all operational technology systems, including Dutchie POS & online ordering, Metrc, and various state regulatory systems.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology systems, data flow, and compliance with state regulations.
- Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the functionality and performance of technology systems by leveraging advanced features, automations, and best practices.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for dispensary staff to ensure proficient use of technology systems, compliance with regulations, and efficient operations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes, system configurations, and user guides.
- Rollout of New Features: Lead the rollout of new features and updates within technology systems, ensuring proper training and user adoption.
- Data and System Audits: Conduct regular audits of data and system usage, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Scoring and Reporting: Develop a scoring system to evaluate data and operations usage within technology systems and report on performance.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure operational continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure all technology systems align with state and federal regulations, and proactively address compliance-related issues.
- Emergency Support: Be available for on-call support in the event of system emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing Dispensary Technology systems, with expertise in Dutchie, Metrc, and state regulatory systems.
- Strong understanding of state and federal cannabis regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
