General Description: The Elementary Enrichment Teacher is responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment, teaching students of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels of the subject matter. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and creative instructor with excellent communication skills.
Reports To: The Elementary Principal
Qualifications:
- Must be a born-again Christian.
- Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
- Must be able to support and comply with the school's Statement of Faith, Statement of Conduct and Ministry of Teaching statement.
- Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
- Must possess Biblical knowledge and the ability to integrate Scripture into subject matters taught.
- Must have an understanding of and commitment to UC Academy's educational objectives and philosophy of education.
- Background and experience in various dance styles and techniques preferred
- Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete assigned responsibilities.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- TB clearance with the last four years.
- Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance.
- Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting (20%), standing/walking (60%), walking (20%), lifting (5%), climbing (5%), bending (4%), squatting (6%). Must be able to lift 10-25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment includes indoor and outdoor environments and office and classroom settings. Floating desk assignment and/or shared office space may be required; moderate noise levels commensurate to a classroom environment.
