POSITION DETAILS

Looking for a candidate who can teach and have a strong background in an enrichemnt subject, dance, minecraft, robotics etc. during the 2023-2024 school year in Santa Paula. You will be required to travel and carry materials provided to different locations. Be a part of an exciting, enrichment program nurturing K-6th graders in advancing their abilities and providing them with one-of-a-kind experience you can't get anywhere else. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, working in STARs after-school setting is a great place to start!*
- The hours are 2:50-5:20 pm Monday-Friday
- $30 per hour
- Location: Santa Paula

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience teaching TK-6th grade students
- Must commit to the 2023-2024 School Year (Last day June 6)
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
- Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently Lead groups of up to 14 students from TK-6th grade
- Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management
- Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe and enjoyable class experience for students
- Creative, artist thinking with the ability to do so under time constraints
- Create curriculum's and execute them effectively
