We are actively recruiting for an Electronics Technician to troubleshoot electronic equipment. We seek dedicated individuals who want to turn their professional ambitions into personal achievements. Key tasks include troubleshooting to component level, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on electronic product/equipment when needed. Analysis of root cause is critical to the success of this position.
Primary Responsibilities
· Read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.
· Perform calibrations on completed assemblies, repairs, and annual recertification.
· Troubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs, and any corrections to the instruments.
· Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
· Comply with all Tinker & Rasor quality policies and procedures.
· Using existing documentation, evaluate assemblies and electronic-boards and equipment that has arrived for repair
· Complete online documents for evaluations and repairs
· Instrument debugging and failure analysis
· Provide feedback to management regarding repair documentation
· Participate in improving efficiency and consistency in repair & maintenance process
Qualifications/Requirements
· A high school diploma or equivalent
· Associate Degree or Trade School Certification a plus
· 3+ years Electronics Technician experience preferred
· Knowledge of standard electronic test equipment preferred:
· Multimeter
· Oscilloscope
· Function Generator
· Basic Soldering Skills
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and reach particularly for sustained periods of time
· Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing
· Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken and written word
· Able to perform light physical effort to lift or move lightweight materials up to 40 pounds
· Visual acuity to view a computer screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
