Electronic Technician - First Shift

Our Electronic Technician position is First Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm and is located at our facility in Carlisle, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair motor controllers & electronic systems to component level
• Soldering, assembly & disassembly of electronic motor controllers
• Testing & repairing of printed circuit boards
• Repair of both mechanical and electronic assemblies
• Assemble, test and perform upgrades to electronic systems
• Use of electronic test/monitor equipment

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proactive and self-motivated. The ability to test, evaluate, and repair complex electrical systems is required.

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology or related field or Degree in Progress
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronic circuits
• Familiarity with modern test equipment
• Proficiency with AC/DC drives
• Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics
• Ability to use hand tools for troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in team environment
