The Audio-Visual Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and support of complex audio/visual systems in a commercial and house of worship environment. We are seeking a candidate with the skills and abilities to install, diagnose and service audio visual equipment. The ability to work independently or as part of a team to install and troubleshoot AV systems is required.
Essential Functions:
- Perform onsite audio-visual equipment installation, including low voltage wiring, equipment rack setup, projector installation, LED TV installs, audio hardware and speakers, control systems and various other electronic devices.
- Perform cable pulls, and terminate audio, video, and network cables.
- Install control systems.
- Install video conferencing systems.
- Assist with structural installation of displays, screens, speakers, and projectors.
- Troubleshooting of A/V systems at the client’s location
- Perform installation of 2-way radios, cameras, and computer systems in commercial vehicles.
- Maintain professional work appearance and outstanding customer interaction.
Qualifications:
- Construction Experience, ability to read drawings.
- Understanding of Networked AV and Cloud based IT/AV Systems
- The ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb, crawl, and raise items overhead.
- Prior team working experience.
- Safety & OSHA Certification Awareness
- Installation & Termination experience
- Low voltage cable pulling experience.
- Experience with audio, video, and/ or lighting systems.
- Experience with power tools.
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Organized, Assertive, and Decisive. Must have the ability to Follow-Up & Follow Through
- Diplomatic in dealing with other trades to increase job-site efficiency
- Multi-tasking

Pay: $35,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
