Job Description
Location: ON-SITE Sterling Heights, MI
Industry: Military Vehicles
Pay/Duration: $70.00 per hour / 12 months plus contract to hire
REQUIRED: BS Degree 10 plus years of Experience
SKILLS: Digital circuit design / PCB Design / Graphic Display / EMI / EMC /
Electrical project lead for display products in military vehicles.
Requirements analysis, electronic design, debug, test, and qualification.
Lead design, development, and test Electronic H/W products, components, and subsystems.
Develop requirements, test plans, RFP and RFIs.
Support component selection, procurement, and oversight of prototype hardware build.
Support concurrent engineering reviews and trade studies.
Develop engineering design fixes, and coordinate solutions.
Perform technology research, feasibility assessments.
Develop concepts to support advanced technology initiatives, IRADS, proposals, and demonstrators.
Strong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status, H/W and S/W revisions.
Experience with analog and digital circuit design, including PCB design.
Experience with single board computers and microcontrollers.
Experience with display technologies and video distribution techniques preferred.
Experience with graphics/video interfaces (DVI, HDMI, RS-170, SDI etc.)
Ability to use engineering development and test tools.
Familiarity with military standards and test requirements desired.
EMI/EMC design practices and standards.
Familiarity with industry interface standards and form factors (VITA42/46, COM Express, ETX, etc ...)
Teamcenter knowledge, Evcore, peer reviews, SWOTS and other GD tools
