The Boeing Company is looking for Electrical/Electronic Equipment Lab Techniciansto join our team in Berkeley, MO. The primary role of this position is to fabricate prototype, test, and support equipment for a wide range of Boeing programs. Most of the fabrication activity involves building unique, low quantity, electronic equipment. This will require working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Working and communicating directly with material management, engineering, and other technicians to accomplish common goals will be a daily activity.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level and Associate Level Electrical/Electronic Equipment Lab Technicians.
Position Responsibilities:
Interprets engineering documentation and supports the fabrication of electronic test equipment
Determines appropriate fabrication tools and methods based on engineering documentation
Documents fabrication steps and status using Boeing tools and procedures
Communicates with technician leads, supervisors, and engineers
Works as a member of a team to accomplish common goals
Performs quality checks of own work and the work of others
Multitask when necessary to accommodate company priorities
Works under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience soldering and terminating wiring
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
Experience with multi-meters and/or oscilloscopes
Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience using Microsoft office products
1+ years of experience in an aerospace production environment
1+ years of experience in areas with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) controls
1+ years of experience in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) sensitive areas
Typical Education/Experience:
Entry-Level (Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for entry-level: $39,100 – $52,900
Summary pay range for Associate level: $47,600 – $64,400
