Job description

Job Summary:

Build and repair electrical equipment necessary for CIPP curing. Perform troubleshooting on equipment in plant and in the field and repair accordingly. Travel to customers for service repairs and equipment calibration.

Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible for building and maintaining equipment used to install and manufacture UV liner

-Install and maintain all electrical and process controls necessary for the curing of Ultra-Violet cured in place pipe liner

-Install electrical conduits, raceways and wiring for equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes

-Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely by telephone and PC when customers have problems, travel to field when necessary to repair equipment

-Use digital and analog meters to troubleshoot equipment

-Work daily with various AC and DC voltages

-Responsible for proper layout and installation of electrical components and wiring in panels on equipment ad on plant machinery

-Responsible for accurate diagnosis and repairs of breakdowns and potential problems in plant and in field

-Responsible for accurate calibration of components used for operation of curing liner

-Responsible for representing Reline America in a professional manner

-Ensures a quality product through regular quality checks. Conducts regular product quality checks as required. Reports any out of spec products to the Supervisor immediately. Resolve and/or bring any problems to the attentions of Supervisor.

-Perform all specification requirements for testing and sampling

-Adhere to established quality and quantity standards. Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company and department policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to Supervisor.

-Keep work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition

-Perform other duties as required and directed\

Qualifications:

-Associates Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or related field.

-5+ years experience

-Must have strong housekeeping skills

-Must be able and willing to learn the difference in materials and equipment that is used

-Ability to effectively communicate to all levels in the organization

-Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as effectively communicate both within and outside the organization

-Ability to deal with problems involving a new concrete variables in standard situations

-Ability to work both strategically and hands-on

-Strong interpersonal skills

-Must be highly organized and able to adapt to changing demands and priorities

-Must be results oriented and focused on quality products for the customer

Environment:

Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Works with various low voltages. Work on equipment that has been exposed to raw sewage. Hepatitis B shots are required. Proper PPE: steel toe boots, safety glasses and gives, etc.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up, push or pull up to 50-150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision. depth perception and the ability adjust , as well, as the following:

-Standing for long periods of time

-Walking, reaching overhead and below knees

-Lifting heavy objects
