Our client specializes in the engineering, integration, and construction of technically complex R&D and production equipment, controls, and facilities and is looking to add an Electrical Designer/Engineer to their team. You will work with a group of controls, electrical, and software engineers to fulfill drafting responsibilities for process and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret design specifications and user requirements
• Develop and review wiring schematics and control panel layout drawings per UL 508A
• Create and modify process and instrumentation drawings/diagrams (P&IDs)
• Create electrical power and lighting plans
• Create work orders and coordinate control panel manufacturing with the Manufacturing facility
• Assist in performing system functionality tests on equipment in the manufacturing facility
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical required
• Experience with Revit is a plus
• Experience with low voltage control systems, instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and data acquisition systems is a plus
