Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today's and tomorrow's power grid! We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
Siemens is growing and we are excited to welcome new entry level electrical engineers to the team! We pride ourselves on creating a diverse and engaging environment for new engineers to quickly develop practical design experience working directly on customer orders. Roles & Responsibilities Get familiar with Siemens technology for protective relaying and substation automation products Help senior engineers on creating work instructions and videos teaching Customers how to use our products Be a critical part of our Customer Support Team Work with application engineering, project management, sales and customer to resolve technical issues Help improve our products by working collaboratively to identify design enhancements and then working to integrate them You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: basic qualifications: Availability to travel (30% of time) BS in Electrical Engineering (to be completed before start date) preferred qualifications: Experience with / knowledge of power systems MS Office You'll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
