Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings of electrical components and systems for industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a proven track record of designing reliable and efficient electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical designs for industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project specifications and incorporate electrical design requirements into overall system design.
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, specifications, and project progress.
- Create bills of materials (BOMs) and wiring diagrams to support the manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Conduct thorough reviews of electrical designs to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall equipment design.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide technical support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
