Job Description
- Manage and administer Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Lockout, PPE, Contractor Communication, Hazard Analysis, Respiratory Protection, Safety Device Verification, Manufacturing Readiness, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Powered Industrial Vehicles, and Ergonomics
- Develop and deliver training to hourly workforce and management personnel
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to EHS
- Ensure accidents are investigated and documented thoroughly, accurately, and timely; follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Work with plant leadership personnel to ensure Company goals and objectives are met
- Interface with government authorities, customers, vendors, and corporate management
- Serve as the ISO14001 Champion; develops and maintains procedures, graphs, and documents necessary to meet ISO14001 standards
- Maintain OSHA (300) and 301 forms
- Manage Workers' Compensation claims, attend hearings when necessary, and maintain workers' compensation files
- Collect injury and illness data and prepare reports for management
- Conduct audits to ensure continuous compliance with regulations

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or Occupational Safety Management or equivalent experience
- 5 -7 years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of the IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards
