Be part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform the transportation industry for a sustainable future!What you will be doing:Amogy’s Strategy Team is seeking an Economic Analysis and Technology Associate that will work at the intersection of finance, market research, and emerging energy technologies.

Reporting to the Strategy and Business Development Manager, the position is well-suited for candidates with a background in clean energy technologies. This position is temporary, with an approximate duration of 3 months in the summer of 2023.Perform competitive benchmarking and collaborate with business development and engineering teams to inform product development strategy and new business pursuits. Apply experience in an analytical environment to help bridge perspectives between the technical and commercial organizations of the company Develop techno-economic models and comparative performance evaluations for various commercial opportunities across multiple target industries. Conduct market research and industry intelligence to map key companies, size market segments, and identify advantaged business models, specifically in the heavy-duty transportation sector.RequirementsThe minimum requirements we seek:2+ years of experience using quantitative models and analysis to inform investment and/or business decisions. BS degree in Engineering or other discipline with relevant experience. Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit with high tolerance for ambiguity and enthusiasm for energy transition. Subject matter expertise in energy transition, mobility propulsion technologies, and decarbonization.Experience in market sizing and competitor analysis. The position is ideal for an experienced MBA or MS student seeking temporary summer employment.The salary pay range for this position is $40 - $50 per hour. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City.
