Looking for invested and dedicated staff to support our clients as they build their new lives. We have been around for 19 years and counting! We are a 14 bed womens extended care residential treatment facility that specializes in long term care of substance use and eating disorders.
If you are familiar with ED tx or Sex and Love addiction treatment that is a great bonus!
Qualifications:
- SupportSpecialist will have completed general education requirements and/or have completed at least some college.
- Must have quality writing skills and word processing skills.
- Works well with limited oversight, can manage various tasks as assigned (time management skills).
- Professionalism and the ability to work in challenging situations.
- Familiarity and knowledge of 12 step recovery.
Duties:
- Create a functional front-office environment for all Ocean Recovery staff.
- Create an inviting environment to clients by providing excellent, cheerful, and helpful service.
- Offer a consistent message with regards to policy and procedures.
- Maintain client safety and security by observing clients in the milieu, and the ability to identify client contraband (including drugs, alcohol, or paraphanalia).
- Monitor and document clients’ behavior.
- Assist in the clients’ orientation to program rules and structure.
- Observe, process, and document urine drug screening for clients.
- Consult with members of clinical staff as needed, and implement recommendations to ensure quality client care.
- Provide client transportations for admissions, discharges, medical appointments, and outside activities.
- Proficiently function in emergencies; de-escalating clients and reacting in a calm and confident manner.
- Manage time effectively by organizing and prioritizing workload to meet the needs of clients and other work assignments.
- Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as schedules.
- Confirm and maintain client appointments.
- Assist Psychiatrist with scheduling/appointment needs.
- Observe and log clients’ self-administered medications.
- Conform to CARF standards in delivery of all services and performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
