EAS Systems Engineer

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for anEAS Systems Engineer at our Burbank, CA site.
This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.
Job Summary:
The Systems Engineer I for Engineering Applications is responsible for supporting Crane Aerospace & Electronics' applications used by engineering of all disciplines under supervision. In addition, works with other applications subject matter experts to support development and maintenance of the organization's product life cycle management systems, infrastructure planning, workflow development/validation, process development, and production support.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring uptime of critical business systems and infrastructure through monitoring and timely remediation of critical applications.
• Works with others to configure, customize & build solutions on Teamcenter/Agile PLM/Windchill/IBM Rational Tools/Solidworks EPDM to meet business process and customer requirements.
• Preserves data assets by supporting disaster recovery and back-up procedures.
• Supports engineering and information technology strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to all regulatory compliance processes and requirements, including but not limited to DFARS, ITAR and like regulations.
• Provides on demand COTS applications support by resolving service requests for purchase, installation, troubleshooting, or system access.
• Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing process/workflow automation.
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium to high volume environment

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of the engineering / manufacturing industry
• Experience with Windows server administration.
• Experience with systems/data administration.
• Experience within the PLM/CAD/CAM industry.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete job requirements within time constraints with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in an individual or team environment.
• Must be self-motivated.

Education/Certification:
BS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience
Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Salary range: $76,900 to $97,115. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
