M-F, 8am-3pm, with some flexibility. Occasional evenings and weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Employment Specialist is responsible for providing training and supervision of assigned program participants placed in the Professional Readiness Employment Program (PREP) . Duties include monitoring participant's acquisition of designated work skills and habits. Skills training and other services may include, but are not limited to socialization, communication, transportation, and related vocational independence opportunities.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Training and supervision of clients placed at PREP Which may include onsite at Community Day Services locations, integrated employment settings or volunteer sites.
Support onsite PREP curriculum and facilitate classroom materials.
Provide community inclusion activities related to PREP
Monitor, document, demonstrate job tasks for clients.
Provide performance evaluation feedback for client work skills assessments.
Work on skill set, socialization, communication, and transportation to provide independence on the job.
Attend all applicable Community Employment Services training.
Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 6 plus months of experience in Social Services
or 1-year combined experience in a job such as food service, janitorial production, or housekeeping, coupled with leadership and training responsibilities.
Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Email, Internet, CIS, Relias, ADP, Publishing, Company Mileage, Evolv
Certifications &
Licenses: DSP Certification (through Pioneer Center) (Preferred)
Other Requirements:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must be able to meet agency driver safety requirement of carrying personal vehicle insurance with the following limits:
$50,000 bodily injury, each person
$100,000 bodily injury, each accident
$50,000 property damage
