Overview The Enterprise Truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a Part Time DOT Driver. Our Truck Rental Division provides transportation solutions within the commercial truck industry, renting business to business. Our goal is to provide high service levels and clean, well - maintained trucks. This position pays $14 / hour and is located at 2460 Access Rd NW, Davenport, FL 33879. This Position requires a valid Florida Driver's License We Offer:Paid time offEmployee discountRetirement savings plan including 401k with matching profit sharingTraining and developmentThe Available Schedule:Sunday: OffMonday: 8:00am - 4:00pmTuesday: OffWednesday: 8:00am - 4:00pmThursday: OffFriday: 8:00am - 4:00pmSaturday: OffThe Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. Candidates will also be asked to drive Vehicles that require DOT certifications.  Responsibilities The Driver is responsible for the transporting of medium duty trucks, cargos and heavy duty pickup trucks to and from rental locations, dealerships and vendors, as well as navigating written directions.Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the roadDeliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous mannerRide with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehiclesOrganize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timelyMay need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phoneMay be asked to clean vehiclesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old.Must be able to read and speak English.Must have a current and valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years. No drug or alcohol related convictions (i.e., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years.6 months work experience required (experience working with box trucks considered a plus).Must live within a 30 minute commute of this location.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment - based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future.DOT Requirements:  We are subject to certain Department of Transportation RegulationsAll applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations.
