Domestic Violence Project Hotline Advocate

We are currently hiring a Domestic Violence Project Hotline Advocate, to work in our Glens Falls location. As the Domestic Violence Project Hotline Advocate, you would be responsible for:

· Answer Domestic Violence hotline during business hours.

· Develop and update community information and referral resources directory and materials.

· Develop and update forms and processes, provide direct assistance to callers and walk-in/in-person clients, and triage calls to appropriate DVP (Domestic Violence Project) staff, manage paperwork and client statistics.

· Additional tasks as assigned.

Domestic Violence Project Hotline AdvocateSchedule: Monday – Friday 9AM to 5PM with on – call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of Domestic Violence.

· Experience working in a human services setting

· Daily vehicle access a plus

· Ability to work cooperatively within a progressive social justice human services delivery model.
