Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) – Videographer
This position will function as an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Videographer specialist for the DTRA Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP). BTRP strengthens the capabilities of partner nations and the international community to prevent, detect, and prepare for outbreaks caused by pathogens. BTRP is primarily a program management role that requires implementation and oversight of DoD acquisition strategies to carry out international threat reduction activities. The Science Team provides interdisciplinary technical expertise and coordination to the BTRP mission throughout the acquisition life cycle, from initial needs assessments through project closeout. The Science Team integrates with the Project Teams to ensure scientific and process rigor in project planning and implementation. Science Team activities contribute to, exercise, and validate capabilities in partner nations, regions, and globally in accordance with defined target end states.
The Videographer will directly support senior biologists, acquisitions, and planning with videography support.
- REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Posses a Secret level clearance (minimum)
· 3+ years videographer experience
· Must be collaborative and willing to work in a team environment while also demonstrating capability to independently make technical recommendations.
· Strong attention to detail, excellent communication on all matters related to client delivery and professional accountability, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suites.
· Ability to be on site in Lorton, VA, up to 100% of the time
· Travel up to 25% of the time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,312.47 - $98,860.17 per year
