- Provide effective supervision of team members and assist them with ongoing development.
- Interpret and present information to team members such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Adapt to new working conditions and be able to work a flexible schedule including increased peak season hours as needed.
- Review and approve all team members time entries in timekeeping and production management systems; making any corrections as needed within the designated time frames.
- Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures as well as all applicable municipal, state and federal laws regarding safety.
- Communicates information to the manager, safety director or HR as needed.
- Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
- May be required to move up to 40 lbs (range may vary based on work assignment) with or without assistance.
- Based on business necessity team members may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree or higher in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of work related experience.
- Previous knowledge of automated DC Systems and current RF technology preferred.
- Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Staff mentoring and development / technical guidance and direction.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with customers, team members and peers.
- Knowledge of automated DC Systems and of current RF technology is helpful.
