Distribution Customer Support Representative– Carrollton, TX

Onsite, Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Redstone Foods, Inc. is a candy and soda distributor; Family-owned and operated business that has been delivering a sweet experience to its customers since 1966. Our Customer Service Team is responsible for processing customer orders from initial entry to shipment; And act as a liaison between warehouse operations and the customer, ensuring operational execution to meet or exceed customer and business needs.
Primary Job Duties:
- Key orders through alpha/numeric data entry, process change orders, and issue returns
- Communicate with customers through the phone and via email
- Research freight claims and shipment status
- Calculate credits and shipping costs for final billing
- Identify solutions to resolve order problems
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Perform other administrative task as assigned

- Communicate effectively and professionally through written and verbal interactions
- Manage multiple tasks in an organized manner in a fast pace environemnt (i.e., talk on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
- Detail orientated
- Conduct oneself in an ethical manner and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Initiate new tasks with direction but little supervision
- Engage with team members to ensure the best customer service experience possible
- Present a professional appearance in business casual attire (blouse/shirt, slacks, dresses/skirts, dress shoes) Monday through Thursday. Jeans are allowed on Fridays.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- Minimum of two years of distribution, warehouse or professional office Customer Service experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong alpha/numeric keyboarding skills
- Ability to type 40+ wpm
