DC Storage Lead
Responsible for supporting operations of the Distribution Center. Safely operates forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, arranging, and transporting products within the facility. Oversees and leads the storage team. Communicates with other leads to manage workflow, and works with operation manager on all matters related to storage.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager on all matters related to Storage.
- Lead, guide and direct the entire warehouse team, using the warehouse management system as needed to guarantee accurate put-away and space utilization. Coordinates with Ops Manager to execute inventory controls.
- Expert with NetSuite handheld device; provide coaching, counseling and development.
- Accountable for the management of an efficient, clean and safe operation, and implementing just in time placement of all inbound loads.
- Enforce understanding and compliance with all ACCP policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for proper communications with all staff
- Responsible for timely and accurate paperwork associated with storage.
- Ensure that all forklift operators perform their duties in a safe manner.
- Adaptable, can approach obstacles with persistence and a positive attitude.
- Teaming to ensure cross-functional training and efficient operations. Uses Systems Thinking and displays an understanding of how one’s own work affects other functions or groups.

Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or Equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in warehousing
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
- Experienced operating a Forklift.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both managers and fellow employees.
- Comprehensive problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
Work Environment: Warehouse Environment – working with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory.
Physical Demands:
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work.
- Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 20 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
