Supporting Actions:
  • Train associates for specific jobs through on-the-job training, classroom training or a combination of the two
  • Facilitate new hire orientations
  • Create onboarding training documents for each warehouse function and update as needed to keep relevant
  • Ensure all training is properly documented in IM-Trained for both full time and temporary associates
  • Help associates improve upon or enhance existing skills
  • Exemplifies Ingram Micro Values
  • Conduct observations to help identify areas of opportunity to improve associate productivity and performance
  • Identify and assess the training needs within the ALC
  • Meet with managers and supervisors to ascertain needs
  • Review errors in IM-Accurate and identify training opportunities based on error analysis
  • Conduct process audits, random sampling and continuous improvement audits, and prepare specific action plans based on findings
  • Hold meetings and presentations on training material
  • Plan, organize and implement a range of training activities
  • Assist with the implementation and installation of a virtual warehouse; Create monitored simulations and problem solving scenarios
  • Create handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
  • Acclimate new hires to the operation and conduct orientation sessions
  • Deliver training courses
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into associate work behavior
  • Use existing QMS documentation to inspect and report quality related issues
  • Monitor areas of operation that affect quality by checking processes and final output
  • Review Shipping Accuracy CDR's to determine root cause for discrepancy and identify trends that can be addressed through training opportunities
  • Provide feedback to management and staffing agency regarding new hire performance, issues or concerns
  • Monitor all training requiring recertification (equipment, ESD, hazmat, etc.) and ensure recertification training is conducted within established timeframe as outlined in company Policies and Procedures
  • Emphasize and reinforce safety protocols throughout training programs to promote a culture of safety within the warehouse

What you bring to the role:
Recognized skilled specialist in job area. May be responsible for leading daily operations. May train, delegate and review the work of lower level employees. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis, judgment and initiative. Makes minor adjustments and enhancements to working methods to improve effectiveness of area.
Provides administrative or technical support at a specialist level. Incumbents are highly proficient in a broad range of activities related to their job. May act as a lead or mentor to more junior technical or administrative support personnel. Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures.
Incumbents independently perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Known in the department/group as the "knowledge base" of information. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader.
Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum five years' functional experience. OR HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum 8 years of functional including 4 years position specific experience.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $35,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
