Better Business Bureau, Inc. (BBB) is the nation’s oldest and most trusted resource for consumer information regarding businesses.

BBB Serving San Francisco Bay Area and Northern Coastal California is currently seeking a Dispute Resolution Specialist staff member to join our team.

BBB is a fully remote operation.

Requirements:

· BBB is a fully remote operation. You must be able to work full-time from home while being able to dedicate your full attention to the job duties during business hours (working hours)

· Have a phone (either cell phone or landline)

· Have an internet connection

Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for the entire process of complaint handling
• Inputting of Manuel Complaints
• Answer hunt-line calls
• Serve as back-up on Info Line Request
• Follow-up with consumers and businesses within a 24-hour timeframe
• Identify & transfer potential problem companies to Trade Practices.
• Transferring complaints and/or files to the proper bureaus and /or regulatory agencies
• Maintaining current information needed for complaint handling for assigned letter of alphabet
• Respond to Live Chat requests
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Ability to analyze information
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Must be self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required
• A sense of humor and friendly, professional manner is important

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
