Dispensary Associate

Position Summary:

The Dispensary Associate at Ginger Hale will be engaged daily, interacting with, educating, and advising customers based on their needs both face-to-face, by phone and email. Other responsibilities will include assisting with inventory and cash management, record keeping as well as ongoing training for product knowledge and industry updates.

What is Expected (Responsibilities):

• Provide Approachable yet Elevated, Professional Customer Service Experiences
• Develop and Maintain Rapport with Customers
• Build and Maintain a High Level of Integrity and Trust both with Customers and Coworkers
• Ensure Questions and/or Concerns are Answered and/or Resolved Promptly and Eficiently. Communicate Requests and/or Issues to Leadership when needed
• Communicate the different Types and Effects of Cannabis products Clearly and Accurately
• Maintain a Heads-Up Approach and Full Awareness of Customers and Activity on the Sales Floor at all Times
• Utilize Point of Sale System to Process Transactions. Handle Cash Safely and Accurately
• Follow Policies and Procedures set to protect the Organization and meet Industry Regulation as Directed
• Maintains a Clean, Safe, Welcoming Environment Inside and Outside the facility
• Assist in Processing and Replenishing Merchandise, Monitoring stock, and Participate in Inventory procedures as needed
• Answer Phone Calls and forward to the Appropriate Staff Member as needed
• Maintain a Positive Work Environment

What is Needed to Get Started (Qualifications):

• Must be at least 21 Years of Age
• Must Pass any and all State Required Background Checks
• Genuine interest in Learning and Staying Current on Cannabis Products and Trends
• 1-3 Years’ Experience in Customer Facing Retail Sales, Customer Service and/or Hospitality Role preferred
• Knowledge of Cannabis Basics including Products, Strains, Effects and Consumption Methods is a plus
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Knowledge working in Application based and Microsoft Office programs
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to Work Flexible Schedule including Extended Days, Evenings, Weekend Hours and some Holidays

• While performing the Duties of this Job, the Employee will be Required to Stand, Walk, or Sit for Extended Periods of Time, Use Hands to perform Manual Tasks, and Lift or Move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance)
