As a Dispatcher, you will be the first “voice” of Onward Health as you help delegate and resolve the needs of our valued customers and patients.
Schedule: Onward operates from 5am-8pm Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm on Weekends, and all holidays. You must be available to accommodate these hours. (Scheduling will be discussed during interview)
Here are some of the job duties:
- You will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, chat messages, and support tickets, while delegating timely and important information to the appropriate parties.
- Your top notch customer service skills will ensure that we provide “white glove” service to our customers and patients.
- You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the inner-workings of the healthcare industry, and have a direct impact on the patient continuum of care.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Minimum 2 years of Dispatch or Customer Service Representative experience
- At least 1-year of experience in a call center environment is highly preferred, but not required
- Able to multitask and has a strong attention to detail
- Must have full-time availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Working hours are during Pacific Standard Time (PST) unless otherwise adjusted
- Must have accessible, high-speed internet connectivity
- Basic computer proficiency (typing speed of 70+ wpm, MS Office and internet)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills, including a pleasant and professional telephone manner
- Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as work independently with little supervision
- Quick learner and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment ∙ Positive upbeat attitude, enthusiastic and compassionate
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- High level of initiative and the ability to make sound decisions independently
- Strong ability to communicate and coordinate calls effectively
- Experience in medical terminology preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided
