Job description

A local Baytown Transportation company is seeking to add a Port Dispatcher to their team with Intermodal experience.

Requirements -

• Must have Port Dispatching experience
• Must have Trucking, Transportation, Logistics, or CHASSIS experience

Responsibilities -

Responsible for ensuring all items on the customer bill are correct and that driver information is correct for the driver settlement - working in TMW.

Trains other CSRs on billing customers.

Resolves any issues with billing customers.

Back up for this position is Customer Service Representative & Billing.

Acts as back-up any CSRs on billing when they are out of the office.

Performs all other duties or projects as assigned.

Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs, collecting operational data.

Identifies Business status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.

Improves Business status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications, coordinating information requirements.

Protects operations by keeping Business information confidential.

Works collaboratively with other entities to achieve program success.

Provide Ad-Hoc Query Support: This activity involves helping customers and vendors with ad-hoc data calls. I t can include custom report generation, data analysis, and the creation of temporary, custom data marts.

Assist with Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end close process.

Pay

$20/hr. - $25/hr.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
