Outbound Dispatcher

Basse Truck Line Inc is presently Seeking a motivated self starting individual to fill an opening we currently have for an evening operations supervisor. This is a full time salaried position with benefits including Health Insurance, Paid Holiday and Vacation time, and a company matching retirement plan.

schedule is monday-friday approximately 2pm-12am end time varies by freight volume

The successful candidate will be well organized and should be able to exhibit skills relevant to the through put of freight handling in the LTL and truckload transportation industry. He/She will possess the ability to:

• Supervise Daily Dock operations and oversee the unloading and loading of trailers.
• Analyze,trouble shoot, and problem solve any issues with equipment, schedules/loads and drivers.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other staff members.
• Effectively and efficiently schedule drivers/loads for optimal on-time results for our customers and maximum benefit for the company.
• Prepare all road driver dispatch instructions with documents.
• Other duties including but are not limited to finalizing end of day P&D operations, assisting customers, tracing, load booking, and preparation of all end of day operation reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• freight dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
• LTL: 1 year (Preferred)
