POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for serving as a leader, client consultant and technology platform expert for CMS and martech/CRM/CDP projects. This is a client facing role as well as development team facing partnership role with our Pace Interactive group. The leader will work with our client team UX and strategy groups as well as tech partners to building best-in-class web/interactive experiences. This includes working with always evolving platforms, CMS, CDP, CRM tools and digital experience trends to support our client’s businesses. Directing the technical strategy and direction and smooth implementation of digital projects for desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.

This position is accountable for strong relationships with clients, internal Pace stakeholders, senior leadership as well as any and all company partners selected to work with client projects. Exposure to and knowledge of tech analysis, data in and data out for interactive environments is important. Understanding of how technology can solve for customer journeys is an essential knowledge base, in order to help craft client solution recommendations for the interactive and digital tech space. 

This is not a software engineering or IT infrastructure role but rather a role that deals exclusively with web/interactive experiences. We are open to this role being Director-level or Associate Director-level depending upon experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comfortable presenting to clients and being a thought leader on platforms, Web3 and AI and how it plays a role in interactive and web
• Collaborate with creative, UX, strategy and studio team to drive innovative ideas for our clients.
• Writing recommendations, proposal copy and solution explanations
• Participate in client pitches
• Drive unique, engaging experiences with UX and interactive design.
• Provide recommendations to management on the platforms, approaches, and technologies best suited to meet company goals
• Partner and be able to relate to and work as an embedded expert with full stack development team, QA and dev ops leaders.
• Provide recommendations on established and emerging technologies
• Provide technical guidance and accurate estimates for specific development tasks in support of Project Management and Account team goals for our clients
• Understand multiple CMS platforms as well as familiarity with sourcing for and array of CMS tools as well as AEM, Salesforce or other CRM and experience platforms
• Be a partner in designing commercial pricing approaches with development of web projects using PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and web services, and third-party tools
• Oversee database design/maintenance for web application and CMS systems
• Help develop processes and systems for lean, smart development and use of new and emerging tools
• Lead test-and-learns with new technology providers

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Tech Integration or related field or comparable experience required

Experience: 

10+ years of interactive/web development experience required

Skills:

• Able to collaborate with teams of all levels of expertise.
• Capable of leading teams by example
• Strong understanding of information architecture
• Familiarity with web development best practices, including cross-browser development, tablet and mobile website development, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with development methods and processes, including version control systems, bug tracking, Agile development processes, Use Case development, and Object-Oriented development.
• Experienced in managing and scoping technical projects, providing accurate estimates of work, and resource management.
• Understanding of project management roles and responsibilities.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to meet and communicate with senior-level clients.
• Proficiency or some experience in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, and SQL.
• Ability to identify and develop talent; Experience mentoring and directing both junior and senior developers.
• Collaborative approach to defining, designing, and developing web projects.
• Exposure to enterprise CMS systems such as AEM, SiteCore, etc.
• Familiarity with third-party APIs such as Facebook, Google, SalesForce.
• Familiarity with relational databases and production processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Proven ability to work well in fast-paced growing environment and demonstrates ability to adapt to new technologies and trends

The salary for this position will range from $100,000-140,000, depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
