- Responsible for automated testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes.
- Ensures that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Help condition and generate test data, builds and executes both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate the test results, and assist with triaging defects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or comparable work experience is required
- Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of testing process and experience with the implementation
- Attention to detail and an analytical skill for testing products for defects and preparing reports.
- Exposure to banking domain - treasury/payment systems.
- Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
- Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand what is needed to be tested and to formulate effective testing strategies
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts.
- Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
- Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Gherkin an asset)
- experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience in version control using Git
- 5+ years of hands-on experience:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts
- Executing automation scripts, preparing executions reports and defect logs
- Creating project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards
- Using Quality Center/AML, QTest
- Using Selenium
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile testing methodologies
- Client focused and able to build working relationships
- Experience with Web UI and API testing
- Preference is for hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step Definitions
- CORE JAVA development skills
- Command over SQL
