Higher Logic is seeking a Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations. As a key leader on the People team, this new teammate will lead the strategy, oversight, development and communication of the company's Total Rewards and HR operations. This includes managing all aspects of the compensation, benefits/wellness and HR systems as well as HR policy, process and governance.
This strategic partner will have proven business acumen and relationship-building skills in order to develop strong consultative and influential relationships with the leadership team and the People team who partner with this role. This position is a highly hands-on player/coach role that will provide leadership and direct supervision to a small team of HR professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors the overall effectiveness of the total global rewards strategy to ensure we remain competitive.
- Ownership of all compensation processes including, but not limited to:
- Compensation Philosophy and Structure
- Annual Review Cycles
- Variable compensation plan design and administration
- Survey participation
- Work with Chief People Officer and Insurance Brokers in researching benefit plans and vendors for all countries in which Higher Logic operates.
- Manage annual insurance renewal and open enrollment including financial analysis; arrange for distribution and collection of materials, communicate changes to employees, arrange presentations, and process changes within deadlines.
- Stays current with trends and best practices in total compensation and benefits, making recommendations to maintain or enhance the attractiveness of our offering to current and future staff.
- Develop and update Own and drive the People Technology Roadmap to ensure our platforms (UKG, Greenhouse, etc.) are utilized to their fullest potential
- Ensures the data integrity of all employee data in the HRIS through consistent and comprehensive audit processes.
- Proactively identifies areas for improvement, integration and automation to provide ease of use and functionality for end users.
- Makes recommendations for tools, processes, systems, resources to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function.
- Supports HR due diligence during the acquisition process to ensure compliance with appropriate employment legislation.
- Responsible for HR policies, including updating/maintaining the employee handbook.
- Stays current with changes in legislation and understands the impacts of those changes on the organization developing appropriate policies, procedures.
- Partner closely with Director, HRBPs, and Internal Comms to ensure effective collaboration and processes that support strong execution and service for employees
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ten (10) or more years of progressive HR experience, focused on compensation, benefits and systems, with at least five (5) years in a growth SaaS environment and at least three (3) years of people leadership experience.
