The Director of Supply Chain will plan, direct, administer, manage, and execute department functions in support of an efficient Supply Chain operation.
Responsibilities- Lead Supply Planning and procurement to ensure exceptional Line Item Fill Rates to customer.
- Co-ordinate with customer global trade organization to safeguard smooth distribution of products worldwide.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency by conversion to a pull system of production.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments including Operations, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Sales and Marketing to meet business goals.
- Develop tools, methods and rules used to support and improve the Supply Chain process locally and in co-ordination with global customer.
- Proactively communicate service risk while maintaining strong coordination with other internal stakeholders.
- Conduct deep investigations into areas where service level is below target and develop solutions to drive rapid recovery.
- Execute strategic projects and initiatives in support of Supply Planning improvements including system/acquisition integrations.
- Oversee capacity planning to ensure manufacturing is building the correct requirements and in alignment with planning for long-term capacity to support the business. Develop countermeasures and communication plans if metrics are not meeting targets.
- Recommend and implement Supply Chain improvements to improve financial and service level.
- Build and develop a high performing and diverse team through coaching, mentoring and continuous skills development to maximize talent potential and effectiveness.
- 7+ years of experience in global Supply Chain management with 4+ years leading a global Supply Chain team.
- Must have experience supporting a planning process.
- Four-year college degree required. Masters in related field or CPIM is preferred.
- Strong understanding of overall Supply Chain flow.
- Must have familiarity with a variety of ERP systems including JDE, SAP IBP/S4, and QAD and proficiency with normal business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience with medical device manufacturing environment under FDA, CGMP, ISO regulatory knowledge and experience with local and regional suppliers to the medical device industry highly desired.

Pay / CompensationThe expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $151,500 - $216,500 - $282,000Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
