POSITION TITLE: Director - School Psychological Sciences
COMPENSATION RANGE: 16,800.00 - 16,800.00 USD per year
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Professional Administrative

Compensation:
Stipend $16,800 + 3 months additional salary during the summer months. Stipend amount may vary based on full
time faculty count at the beginning of the academic year.
Position Summary:
The Director serves as the primaryacademic and administrative officer of the School of Psychological Sciences,reporting to the Dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. TheDirector will provide a forward-looking vision and proactive leadership in theareas of accountability, transparency, and collaboration as well as principledadministrative guidance and advocacy for shared governance and the mission ofthe School, College, and University. The Director is responsible to proactivelymove the School forward towards a more socially just, equitable, and diverseenvironment, which includes curriculum, hiring, and programmaticdecisions.
Job Duties:
The Director is responsible for workload/scheduling,curriculum, and student concerns. The Director advocates for students, faculty,and staff to the rest of the University and communicates University goals andconcerns positively to the School. TheDirector sets a tone and creates a positive environment to encouragecollaboration, creative engagement, and productive work in the School. TheDirector has managerial and leadership responsibilities for the School'soperation, including development and implementation of goals and objectives,faculty and staff review and development, supervision, strategic andprogrammatic oversight.
Minimum Qualifications:
Rank of tenured associate or fullprofessor in the School of Psychological Sciences.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.

These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
