Job Title: Director, Process Improvement
Location: US - Remote
Position Summary:
As the Process Improvement Director at Apkudo you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and enhancing productivity across our processing facilities. You will lead a team of Process Improvement engineers to identify areas for optimization, develop strategies for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement Process Improvement initiatives to enhance device processing efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and analyze process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and monitor progress towards improvement goals.
- Collaborate with departmental managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment of Process Improvement initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Process Improvement teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build Process Improvement capabilities across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Process Improvement to drive innovation and competitiveness.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management on Process Improvement initiatives and outcomes.
What you'll need:
- BA/BS and/or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, relevant experience may substitute degrees
- 5+ years of experience in device processing and repair.
- Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong technical expertise in mobile development frameworks and methodologies.
- A passion for mobile diagnostics and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- 3+ years of experience leading small development teams of three to five
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
