POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Director of Large FormatOperations Project Management is directly responsible for the performance of the Large FormatOperations Project Management team and all activities related to Large FormatOperations Project Management. This role will work with Operations Project Managers, clients, sales, and manufacturing to ensure job due dates for Amsive customers are met in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage, train, hire and supervision of the Operations Project Management Team Members with the support of well-crafted job description / requisitions.
  • Support Account retention through quality, service and on time delivery.
  • Support New Business Development for new accounts and leverage previous client relationships to grow Amsive account base presence in the LF market.
  • Leadership, Management and accountability for Operations Project Management team
  • Support sales by attending client meetings, suggesting alternative products and techniques to achieve client desired outcome.
  • Mentoring and developing Operations Project Management Team.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and consistently keep management group operating as a team.
  • Lead and participate in strategic internal and client daily, weekly or project-based meetings.
  • Ensure job tickets are submitted accurately per the requirements of our SOP's and are done in a timely manner to allow for success in achieving customer requirements.
  • Work to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate estimating process for Large Format jobs through Project Management team.
  • Understand the customer's needs and listen for any opportunity to sell new services or additional projects to a current customer.
  • Other duties as assigned by Leadership.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years Project Management experience in the Print Industry and 3-5 years of Employee Management experience.
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated team player.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Director of LF Operations Project Management position reports directly to the SVP Operations
Supervises Operations Project Manager team, approximately 7 employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Body Positions: Frequently required to stand, walk and sit.

  • Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing and touch. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must be able to distinguish minor color variations.
  • Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will spend most of the time working in a professional office environment but may occasionally be required to spend time in production area that is relatively loud. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
