Position Location: Carmel, Indiana
As MISO’s System’s Implementation Project Manager, you will perform the full range of the project management cycle: planning, executing, and closing. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the execution and implementation of third-party software applications that support critical back-office functions such as Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Management. You will oversee all aspects of the project including, but not limited to: budget, schedule, resources, risk management, change management, vendor management, as well as building and maintaining working relationships with team members, vendors and others involved in the projects. You’ll engage and oversee cross-functionally with team members and overseeing their roles in managing aspects of their projects.

- Partnered with key stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, objectives and deliverables, and achieved established milestones
- Led the execution of back-office software implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Obtained estimates and developed project schedules to include internal and external labor (hours/cost), hardware/software quotes, track project and portfolio dependencies
- Delivered each project on-time, within budget and the documented scope
- Identified and accessed potential risks and issues related to project implementation
- Met monthly expenditure targets and forecasted resources goals
- Recommended and implemented continuous improvement solutions into the Project Management processes
- Built long lasting relationships with the project team and other leaders
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or Supply Management (or 5-8 years relevant work experience equivalency with a focus on implementing back-office software applications)
- Strong background in Project Management and a deep understanding of back-office processes
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and integrating third-party software
- Examples of managing multiple projects simultaneously
What we prefer:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
