About the Position
As Director of Pharmacy at Harris Health, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership in order to create a work environment encouraging creative implementation of evidence-based pharmaceutical care as well as legendary patient and customer service. The Director ofClinical Pharmacy Service will also conduct or provide assistance in matters of pharmacy financial activities, such as benchmarking and productivity of departments throughout Harris Health System, issuance and analysis of contracts and business plans, operating capital budgets, contract compliance, and other business management services.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills will be vital to your success in this role as you lead a team of professionals and coordinate with leadership to drive change in the Clinical Pharmacy of Harris Health System.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from accredited school of Pharmacy
- MBA, MPH, or MPA preferred
- Completion of PGY1 Residency
- Completion of PGY1 ASHP-Accredited residency preferred
- PGY2 Residency preferred
- Texas Pharmacist License
- If licensure by reciprocity, must obtain Texas license within 90 days of employment
- Texas Pharmacist Preceptor Certification within 90 days of employment
- ACPE IV Sterile Certification
- BLS Certification within 90 days of employment
- ACLS Certification within 180 days of employment
- Board of Pharmacy Specialities Certification
- 7 years of pharmacy experience
- 5 years of experience should be clinical
- 5 years of pharmacy management experience
- Clinical Manager level or above
