As Director of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Harris Health, you will provide leadership and operational management to the medical transport system, including all MICU, ALS, BLS, wheelchair-bound, critical, emergent, and non-emergent transport services. The Director of EMS is responsible for program management and administration, strategic planning, business development, community relations, regulatory and compliance, excellent patient care and satisfaction, and maintaining safety standards. You will also be responsible for the operational integration across service lines, clinical services, ground transport operations, Transfer Center integration, and dispatch/communications functions.

Requirements- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health-related field, or Business Administration
- Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic
- National HealthCare Administration Certification within 2 years of hire
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- ACLS, PALS, and FEMA certifications
- Texas Department of State Health Services; Advanced Administrator of Record License within 1 year of hire
- 6 years of current or past experience with medical transport operations in a challenging healthcare environment, such as Ground Transport, EMS, Transport Medicine, Aviation, or Maintenance
- 4 years of combined charge nurse, supervisory, or management experience
- Bilingual preferred
