Seeking a qualified Director of Pharmacy for a full-time position in a renowned hospital in San Antonio, TX. This role offers a dynamic work environment with no weekend shifts, ideal for a professional known for excellence in pharmacy management.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• 🎯 Establish and oversee quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals.
• 🧑‍⚕️ Supervise the dissemination of drug information, in-service education, consultations, and direct assistance to staff pharmacists.
• 📊 Direct pharmacy personnel activities and provide professional and technical guidance.
• 💡 Lead new program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• 🤝 Promote teamwork among staff, peers, physicians, and others.

🎓 Qualifications:

• 🎓 B.S. or Pharm D from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 🕒 Minimum of five (5) years of hospital leadership experience in an acute care setting or PGY2 leadership residency.
• ⚖️ Proficiency in legal responsibilities, state and federal regulations governing pharmacy services.
• 💊 Knowledge of pathophysiology, diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics.
• 🆔 Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• 📋 Consultant Pharmacist license required for Florida applicants.
• 🔑 Controlled Substance License, if applicable.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• 💵 Salary: $68.46/hr - $83.86/hr, max $87.00/hr.
