JOB SUMMARY

The Director of People serves as our senior Human Resources representative, offering insight and guidance on our people-focused policies, programs, and procedures. Leading recruitment efforts and fostering collaboration across the organization, you'll drive employee engagement, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is a leader aligned with our culture and business strategies, focusing on team member development. KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Performance Management

  • Lead talent development initiatives including individual and group solutions aimed at enhancing our team at all levels of the organization in both technical and administrative positions.
  • Evaluate and enhance performance management metrics to determine the best way for each team member to reach their full potential.
  • Continuously reassess the organizational structure as the business grows and evolves across various locations and service lines, ensuring team members are positioned for both individual and collective success.

Engagement and Culture

  • Comprehend, advocate for, and exemplify a culture that aligns with the CAGE Mission and Purpose. Regularly gauge morale and engagement levels to attract exceptional new talent, all committed to a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Internally champion the promotion and preservation of our culture and our Fundamental Program, which defines our corporate identity.
  • Enhance the employee life cycle: Ensure positive experiences for individuals from recruitment to alumni status within CAGE. Identify and address any deficiencies in our current methods across different stages of the employee journey.
  • Create and execute a marketing plan to advertise current full-time and summer intern open positions, along with promoting team attendance at industry conferences, updates on new technology, staff announcements, and other relevant updates.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aimed at attracting exceptional talent: As CAGE experiences rapid expansion and workforce scaling across different levels and regions, our Director of People will collaborate with other CAGE leaders to devise strategies, tactics, and resources for attracting and hiring talented individuals.
  • Evaluate our current university and college recruitment efforts and enhance them to reach a broader audience, aiming to secure top talent for summer internships and post-graduation new hires.
  • Enhance employee compensation and benefits programs to align with market standards, reflect our values, and cater to the needs of our people.

Applicant & Ongoing Development Training

  • Administer and refine internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to enhance its effectiveness in attracting hard-to-reach talent.
  • Create and oversee a team of junior recruiter(s), guiding them in attracting high-caliber individuals who are qualified, talented, and aligned with the CAGE culture.
  • Develop and present training sessions on topics including interview techniques, Counter-Offer Preparation, Sales Strategy, and work to establish Standardized Recruitment Practices across the organization to foster consistency and excellence.

Strategic Planning & Organizational Management

  • Assist the President and COO in company-wide initiatives for advancement, including but not limited to corporate development opportunities through strategic recruitment or acquisitions.
  • As an integral member of the CAGE leadership team, actively engage in regular Operations Meetings, providing comprehensive updates on personnel and recruitment-related affairs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Executive teams to help prepare presentations for the Quarterly Meeting addressing the entire company. Ensure information disseminated upholds our culture of transparency and high velocity communication.
  • Evaluate and maintain the employee handbook, manage benefits-related inquiries, oversee benefits open enrollment, and provide team guidance on 401K inquiries.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of professional Human Resource experience in a technical consulting business environment.
  • Experience with a variety of HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, resource planning, compensation, employee engagement, benefits, and learning/development.
  • Experience in managing and engaging teams across multiple states is a bonus.
  • Demonstrated expertise and mastery in recruitment processes.
  • Travel required as needed for both in person meetings and project requirements. This is anticipated to be less than 10% of overall time.
