A highly successful real estate and hospitality group in Las Vegas, NV is looking for an experienced Sr. Director of Operationswith strong operations training, process creation, and cultural ambassador background to assist the COO in driving operational excellence through efficient and effective practices to support the strategic objectives of the brand focusing on aggressive growth for a rapidly Growing Bakery concept currently with 10 locations.
*This position REQUIRES relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is a full-time position spending 80% of the time in the field visiting assigned stores to ensure proper execution of all initiatives, consistent or better store conditions, and understanding of guest service expectations by all employees. Regular travel within the greater Las Vegas area required. As the brand grows, frequent overnight, out-of-state travel is required.
This position reports to: Chief Operations Officer.

What Are We Looking For?
- Minimum 5-7+ years of Sr. District Manager or Director role for a restaurant, deli, bakery, and/or fast casual experience.
- Previous proven operations training experience at the restaurant level.
- Knowledge of bakery products and distribution experience is a huge plus.
- Previous new store opening experience is preferred.
- The leadership style and mental agility to move effectively between strategic roles and hands-on executive roles.
- Proven success in developing effective, technical teams, attracting, and developing top talent, and grooming next-generation leaders.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The Ideal candidate will be ethical, a self-starter, collaborative, have good business acumen, and comfortable rolling up his/her sleeves to coach and mentor at the in-store operations level.
- Must be able to create process improvements, SOPs to elevate the operations experience and train all levels of staff.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts, including creation of budgets and P&L management and analysis; apply concepts such as percentages and ratios to practical situations.
- Knowledge of retail management best practices including sales, customer service, inventory management, risk reduction and human resources skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically while possessing the “big picture” perspective and enforcing accountability.
Essential Functions
Responsible for executing daily operations, and setting standards for the company to ensure that processes, training, and quality of services reflect the brand standard.
- Lead the store management team to deliver on service and achieve a safe working environment that meets or exceeds performance targets.
- Work with leadership to implement strategies per location to deliver sustainable, profitable growth while driving results through the standardization of programs and accountability management.
- Standardize operational policies and systems that will serve as the foundation for the brand to grow.
- Be actively engaged in all aspects of business operations to help fortify the culture.
- Manage and develop talent in collaboration with Human Resources and store management.
- Drive managerial behaviors at all levels to achieve consistent results.
- Functions as a change champion, preparing the culture to adapt and embrace ongoing, fundamental changes that will enable the business to grow and prosper.
- Able to provide direction and leadership regarding changing market conditions and build long-range plans aligned with the market and group strategy, while at the same demonstrating agility to effectively adapt to changes.
- Build relationships with all key support employees and vendors.
- Generate plans to continually enhance employee engagement and ensure the stores are attracting, recruiting, and retaining the best talent possible.
- Maintain a constant focus on building high-performing teams through a culture of training and development.
