Position Overview
As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our company. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations while also participating in Flint Group’s General Manager Development Program (GMDP). The GMDP is a transformative full-time development program that grooms top talent to lead Flint Group brands as General Managers. Flint Group’s GMDP offers a unique opportunity for accelerated development of the general management skillset, while providing a well-rounded experience, exposure to the business, and an opportunity to refine leadership capabilities.
Flint Group’s GMDP participants will go through an 18-24 month immersive experience as a key leader at one of its brands, reporting directly to the current General Manager. As a key leader, participants will drive value while learning a proven playbook designed to sustain growth, improve customer service, and attract and retain top talent. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to be promoted to a General Manager at one of the Flint Group brands across the U.S.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends, customer feedback, and sales data analysis.
- Streamline and improve sales processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the effectiveness of sales operations.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Manage and optimize resource allocation to meet business objectives and financial targets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
- Lead and mentor a team of Operations managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the operations department.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing and finance, to align operational strategies.
Qualifications
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience in sales operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong leadership potential and aspirations for executive management roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Willingness to relocate to other major metropolitan markets within 2 years.
Compensation, perks and benefits:
- Base annual salary of $165,000.00 - $200,000.00
