Director of Operations Responsibilities -
- Transformative Operations Management:
- Spearhead the development of impactful operational KPIs aligned with our division's ambitions.
- Craft a vibrant, adaptable team ready to meet customer demands with resilience and responsiveness.
- Champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing.
- Forge solid production plans and SOPs to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Prioritize and refine shipping schedules to exceed customer expectations.
- Architect operational blueprints that anticipate capacity and capability advancements.
- Dive deep into manufacturing processes to drive improvements in throughput.
- Foster a culture of safety in collaboration with EH&S.
- Collaborate with Sales to innovate offerings and meet future needs.
- Serve as the pivotal operations contact for our valued customers.
- Drive operational synergy across divisions for organizational uplift.
- Empowering Continuous Improvement:
- Implement sustainable improvements through rigorous problem-solving.
- Inspire a culture of growth and development within the team.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies to streamline operations.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Commit to nurturing future leaders across all operational spheres.
- Collaborate with HR to deploy impactful training programs.
- Guide and unite teams to foster engagement and seamless communication.
- Ensure team evolution reflects core values through transparent communication and accountability.
- Upholding Standards and Quality:
- Lead in environmental practices and quality management systems.
What we are looking for in a Director of Operations -
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen for making sound judgments regarding capital justification and ROI.
- Preferred experience with Six Sigma/Lean methodologies or similar.
- Knowledgeable about safety practices and departmental procedures.
- Education Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business; Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience Preferred:
- 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge and management of digital printing, workflows, graphic services, e-commerce, and fulfillment.
