Director Of Finance And Operations

Are you a numbers guru who loves day-to-day bookkeeping but also likes to be strategic and visionary with budgets, financial strategy, etc? Forward Janesville, a member-driven organization that leads private sector economic and community development efforts, is seeking someone with the passion and skills to serve as the financial and Operations leader for the organization. You will:

· Coordinate office and information systems to ensure top-notch member service and efficient processes for the entire team

· Oversee all financial management in collaboration with accounting firm and Finance committee, including bookkeeping, payroll, member invoicing, vendor relationships, financial reporting and analysis

· Serve as benefits administrator and HR liaison for employees and insurance/retirement vendors

· Support membership experience by administering member database, ChamberMaster, and member directory

· Assist all other directors and CEO with reports, documents and other systems/processes; create and streamline processes by investigating and implementing efficient technology/systems

· Willingly help with any other projects or tasks, as part of a small team

Requirements include experience/education in several of these key areas: managing office operations, bookkeeping and financial reporting, human resources/benefits administration, information/systems management; strong collaboration and relationship building skills; positive attitude and passion for the mission of Forward Janesville; strong organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail; and an ability to work independently and self-manage. Competitive salary and benefits available. Full-time position is generally M-F, 8am-5pm, but does require some flexibility for early morning or evening events/meetings. Minimal weekend work.
